Blender Collada import has problems with rigs

I believe this is not a fault of the MakeHuman DAE exporter, but instead is an issue in the collada importer of Blender.
It might be an unreported issue on the blender tracker, so could be useful to report.
However I fear that the collada code in blender is not getting a lot of developer attention lately, as mentioned in issue #546
For that reason, it might be good to look at binary FBX as an alternative means of getting rigged meshes in blender (issue #623). As it does seem like the FBX code in blender is being actively maintained.
