Description

r1261 on Windows 7
I don't normally use autozoom, but I decided to test it a little after a recent post.

It seems that there are some gaps in implementation.

For example,
  • Click on the measure tab, and there is no auto zoom
  • Zoom way in on the neck and autozoom on the cheek usign modeling > face > cheek. The cheek will not appear move itno view.
  • Zoom in on the chest and move the nose.

The latter 2 examples suggest that if you are too far zoomed in that autozoom will not readjust viewport.

testing autozooming, sometimes the relevant region is not selected correctly, e.g. changing sliders for the right hand, but still the left hand is zoomed in.

It would help a lot if someone is willing to make a complete accurate list of the areas where auto zoom is wrong.

I think you should command someone to volunteer on this job. :) This is really lots of work...

Maybe we should consider to remove it, see #853 ?
